Italian symphonic metal group Aqvilea unveils a significant lineup shift: Finnish opera vocalist Kate Nord steps into the role of frontwoman, replacing Cae Lys. Nord has already recorded the band's upcoming single, and the revamped lineup will debut on Sun, June 25th, at the historic Tempora reenactment in Aquileia, Italy.
This change arises from Cae Lys' prior commitments, rendering the continuation of the project impossible. "We sincerely value her professionalism and contributions," affirms Aqvilea's founder, Pier Lando Baldinelli, while the departing singer conveys her best wishes, stating, "I hope the band attains the success they deserve."
“Finding a suitable replacement was no easy task," explains Pier Lando, "yet Kate surpasses all expectations. Her astonishing talent and captivating personality left us in awe, and with her onboard, we believe this project will soar to unparalleled heights."
Kate Nord, a composer, producer, and versatile performer, also serves as the lyricist for the progressive power band Noveria. Recently, she released her debut solo album, "Compass to Your Heart's Desire."
Presently, the band diligently crafts their sophomore album, "New World Era," under the production guidance of Fredrik Nordström. Fans have already been tantalized with a glimpse through the single "Activm."
