Italian symphonic metal band Aqvilea has announced the release of their new single "Activm", the first track from their upcoming album.

The new single was produced, mixed, and mastered at the Fredman Studio in Gothenburg by renowned Swedish melodic metal pioneer Fredrik Nordström. It will be available for download and streaming on all digital platforms beginning February 14, 2023. The song is a powerful and eclectic mix of symphonic, groove, and soundtrack elements, depicting the eve of the battle of Actium. The band's founder, Pier Lando Baldinelli, described the single as a pressing crescendo of emotions that touch the most absurd emotions. The accompanying video, which was directed by Simone Vrech and entirely created in Virtual Production at the Base 2 Video Factory Studios, is a tribute to great cinema and its soundtracks, and is an important part of the band's artistic concept.

Aqvilea's new album, titled "New World Era," will be produced entirely by Fredrik Nordström, and will be released in 2023, with several singles expected to be released throughout the year. The band consists of Cae Lys on vocals, Pier Lando Baldinelli on vocals, bass and keyboards, Franz Lugnan on guitar, and Federico Turolla Turatti on drums.
