Formed in 2012, “Rising Curse” has released their new single “Divine Bloodshed” February 19th on all music platforms through DyMM P&M® and it’s an absolute banger.
Thematically the song exposes the cruelty and the irony behind one of mankind’s biggest flaws which is religion based wars and bloodshed. Not having a focus on a specific religion that did this throughout human history, the song ironizes the way that many religions believe that through the killing of non-religious people, they’ll be closer to their God and their Heaven.
With production by Kebras, this Deathcore track has a perfect balance between the typical tropes of breakdowns, blast-beats and killer guitar tones of the modern sound, and the old-school raw feeling on the production, setting a darker mood and tone for the cut, than most -core songs we heard on the past decade.
The cut follows “Reign Occult” as the second single of the upcoming 12 track album, set to be released later this year.
